lforum is on a distinguished road

Is there any problem of my computer?

When I use low resolutions such as 800x600 and 640x480, it shows some lines on the screen. However, I can use high resolutions without any problem.

Is it a problem of Catalyst 5.4?

its just the way monitors work, perfectly normal. Nvidia cards have a feature to stop this effect by line doubling low resolutions (if its enabled in the drivers). ATI dont.

Which monitor do you have? Rather, is it based on a Sony Trinitron tube, or is it listed as an 'Aperture Grill' type monitor? If it is then those 'lines' are normal due to the way the monitor is made.
