problem with omega: screen is black!

hi all!

i have just downloaded the lastest version of omega driver, i made the installation and did the reboot, but something don't work!

i explain better:

i cannot view some Windows' 3d screensaver;

in dxdiag, if i run directdraw and direct3d test, the white square in full screen mode and the " dx cube" aren't displayed, but i can see them only for a moment before the test ends;

some games, like need for speed underground 2, aren't displayed...i see black monitor! if i switch to windows with alt+tab, i see for a moment the image of the game before the screen goes to desktop

other games, like painkiller, work well..

so..

what is the problem

please help me! i hope you understood my problem

i use Windows xp pro sp1 with amd64 3200+, radeon 9800pro 128mb, the drivers are omega 2.6.25a

Have you tried running driver cleaner before the Omega driver install? You're also using SP1...I think ati drivers need SP2, Omega or not, as of a certain version. Try that, maybe thats it.

do you have any link to this program?

however i don't think that the official drivers need sp2
