Cool! Catalyst 2.5 now available?

I'm too busy to play with 'em right now, let alone take the time to download 33MBs. (It's another all-OSs-in-one package, sort of convinient for dual-booters like me. )

You can find these new catalyst drivers from the nice people at Saphire Tech, a company that REALLY seems to try harder than all the rest to keep their customers up-to-date.

Update.

These ARE new! I can't even get in at Saphire, but I found a pretty speedy mirror-ish. Actually, it isn't a 'mirror' so much as a direct link to the file on Driver World's server....but since they haven't posted it up yet I didn't see the harm.

'Cept for the fact that it ain't right, so I ain't posting the link here. You'd have to be a real bastard to do something like that....

Doh...
Seems like a completely bad day...
First two persons I respect much, Zardon and Eugene, can't make a simple deal, and then I get judged by posting this on a site I post news on....
And then my stupid friend wants to buy Samsung 765MB instead of 757NF so he can get 1.8 P4 instead of 1.7 Celly (yes, it is faster, but you can always upgrade later, when it is cheaper etc.)
DOH

EEK! What?!? Forced V-sync in D3D & openGL?!?

Wow, the tabs in the control panel for D3D & openGL now have some more control over vert sync. Neat!

More as it comes, I just installed the 9x version and am getting ready to run it thru the standard tests...but the 9x-only set installed just fine for me.

Will Cyborg now tweak those or release 2.4's (he had some 2D problems, and these are supposed to solve it)?

well I think cyborg is best answering that himself, but as he is about to release his newest set ive a feeling he will go with that and probably do a revision on the newer just released set. otherwise he is going to be never releasing anything and updating his current set, with the speed ATI are working !

sorry guys I had to remove the hosting of these sets on Driverheaven server, the server is trying to cope with the demand for omegas recent nvidia sets, 50 gigs of downloads in a day, and over 1 million hits in the last 24 hours ....... I had to reboot the server there.
