With tray icon loaded (it isnt normally) and after sitting a few minutes:

CLI #1: Mem: 5,444K VM: 36,156K
CLI #2: Mem: 4,168K VM: 18,916K
CLI #3: Mem: 3,916K VM: 28,424K

Tray icon unloaded and after sitting a few...

CLI #1: Mem: 4,188K VM: 36,160K
CLI #2: Mem: 4,688K VM: 28,424K

Alrighty...my PC specs are in my sig, but my particulars about the Catalyst drivers are:

Cat 5.6 w/CCC
4XAA, 16XAF forced (I pretty much ALWAYS leave it there)
Tray icon disabled (deleted the shortcut in the "startup" folder too.)
Disabled ATI Hotkey Poller in "Administrative Tools"

This leaves me with only 2 CLI.exe files.

The PC has been up for about an hour. (I shut down completely when not in use) No games were played. I've just been browsing forums.....
Took the readings with this reply page up.

No other programs, pages or tabs are running.

(....just in case any of that mattered

....)

go to run type:
C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Systemtray.bat

then post you results with the 3 cli's i need both with and with out the system
tray to include your numbers
