This thread will continue and hopefully killersneak will spend some time here supporting his drivers, remember this guy does the modding in his own time and asks for nothing in return. Killersneak since apologising in public has been an exceptionally well behaved member on this site and some of you guys should take note of his conduct.

i have tryed Dna 5.7 cat 5.7 omegas 5.7 and NGO 5.7 thus far they perform wuite good all specially omega DNA and CAT

so KS keep it up youre doing one heck´of a job giving us these fine drivers

Yes it doesn. Just install the driver ontop of the drivers your using at this point.

Thanks Z. Maybe i did over react a little bit

but to be honest i have had enough of people just making posts to turn things into flame wars, i think this has happened enough in the past and everybody should get over it. I also hope we could just all get allong and have a neat and healthy discussion here.

If the mod community didn't exist, I probably wouldn't bother playing games. Seriously, you people should teach ATI and Nvidia lessons about creating quality drivers, since neither company can seem to get it right.

though KS i have one problem with these 5.7 and i think it is the only set

it dosen´t install secondary x800 and when i try afterwards there is no files to install it with
seems to delete the files needed
but i got it to work
the only thing else id in benchmark mode i get less marks in 3dm03 than with aquamark profile weird isn´t it

but otherwise very pleased with them

Thx really makes me feel better to see people actually appriciate the drivers

as for the X800 problem im looking into that one now, While installing the driver did you get the non whql warning msg 2 times ? (1st for x800 and 2nd for x800 - secondary ? )

Thats strange, ever used the DNA-ATi Profile Changer ? To use IQ or BenchMark mode ? With the DNA-ATi drivers you have allot of options / profiles to choose from.

I think you're capable of doing a great job should you be hired at ATI. I mean, you do more than simply edit an .INF file, you add features and you fix bugs. Apparently, ATI can't seem to do that properly on their own, hence they fix bugs in games either no one plays or don't give a rat's ass about. I think you, Omega and Unian should all come together and make one huge driver-modding community together. That would rock.

Yes Kanko - help us out here, please give specifics (screenshots and/or fraps numbers from within games) on the performance and quality issues you are having. It would be helpful to have numbers from both driversets you have used to compare.

It's impossible to understand what you mean by "performance and quality" being better on one set versus another without some specifics, without which you're just howling at the wind - which is useless.

well i did 2 fraps in Hl2

first one ohh let me tell ya i use imgae quality profile 4xAA 8xAF in all other the highest settings in CP

the result

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg

7387, 120000, 31, 124, 61.558

the second one

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg

6272, 120000, 0, 114, 52.267

these using DNA´s Latest
