Question on adjusting gamma/brightness
For whatever reason, my monitor has always been pretty dark. The brightness/contrast on it is to the max and still was dark. So for my radeon 9600Xt 256mb card, I get the latest omega drivers for it. In the ATI 3d Control Panel I found two places where I can adjust this. I've changed my desktop brightness successfully, it looks fine now.
However, my main reason for asking, is how (or can I even) change the brigtness in my games using these drivers. Currently I'm playing Counter Strike: Source and it's way too dark. Under the Color tab, I have "full screen 3d" with all the brightness/gamma/contrast to the max and it doesn't make a difference - at all. I'm new to the drivers, so please advise if it's possible to change my game's brightness using this driver (Radeon Omega Drivers 2.6.53 (Catalyst 5.7)). Thanks for reading. |

If you want it a little bit brighter, run it on the LCD resolution.
