bf2 runs WAY better
im running with everything on high and 2xAA & 8xAF @ 1200x900 with a radeon 9800pro
im getting freaky results....45fps

4xAA 8xAF A.I high everything on quality in CCC

in game settings is 1280x960 HIGH

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg

13619, 360619, 23, 74, 37.766

that is prettu good

but let´s see when no FSAA is enabled

Yes, only Win 32-bit. The x64 edition will come when it is official.

ATi is back in making good drivers

4.12 was great, 5.1-5.6 wasn't that much, 5.7 was great, and 5.8 is even greater

5.7 was the same as 5.6 for me. 5.6 where a massive improvement with the Z buffer tweaks. Ill give these a run for there money when I have time.

He has on a 9800Pro 45 fps, and you with a X800 an average of 38 fps. Both on high, only you have 4xFSAA and he has 2xFSAA. I almost can't believe the results of the first post. I don't believe you have everything on high quality in BF2...

well he might get 45fps average max i dunno then we don´t know if he has OCèd his system adn so on i run stock speed CPU GFX

but i´ll try 2xaa 8xaf and then compare i use single player and the first map

except now just a minute or two ago BF 2 major crashed on me and the sound went on like machine gun once i got out to windows back to game it was good to go again

The drivers haven't been giving much trouble since the time I bought my 9800Pro and they still aren't today.

Whatever work has been done with the CCC and .net framework by the Techs at ATI is to be commended.

I have tried the CCC on my system a few times prior to this release, but can honestly state that it now works superbly fast, appears to be slicker in application and the GUI is amazing.
