This is GREAT. Constant development and progress. But since I use a laptop, I guess I will need to wait for the OMEGA version.

Maybe you can use mobility modder so that you don't have to wait for Omega ...

Of course. It's what's happened to me... After a long wait after Cat 5.4 release, I've decided to use mobility modder...

But now, I can't use Omega drivers since I'm on win x64 and I use mobility modder which is at a beta state for x64 but seems to work great...

BTW Patje (Mobility modman) is always looking for beta testers of MM for win64

I would like to buy a Acer Notebook with ATI X700 mobile GPU

Anyone can tell me th performance of X700 64MB and X700 128MB?

Based on Anantech review on Catalyst, the driver improve performance on <128MB card.

Does this apply to Mobile GPU as well? Please advice....

I sure can. It's going to be extremely scientific using a white noise random number generator. Here is how at works.

In about 3 and a half hours from now or shortly after 3pm Eastern Standard Time, I will get up from my desk. I will walk to the coffee machine in a casual pace. The first person I run into in the hallways, I will ask them to give me a number from 63 (the first post after i started the contest) to xxx (the last number post before I get up for the exercise) (which currently is at 467). (these numbers are the post number in the top right of your post)

Then I will take that number and verify they have the magic phrase in it. If not I will repeat the exercise until a winner is picked. If they do I will let Zardon know the post number and he will announce the winner. The I will get that persons address and ship a package today

I have the x850 platinum edition and it rocks. I have no problems with lagging when i am playing far cry with full graphics. A friend of mine have a nvidia and he have to play with minimum graphic settings. The cards did cost allmost the same.
