Omega 2.6.53 drivers causing problems?
Ever sense I downloaded and installed the new omgea drivers windows is saying it has found 2 new "unknown" pieces of hardware. It can not find drivers for them, and i'm unsure what is causing this.
If i uninstall the drivers, the 2 "unknown" go away. If i reinstall the omega drivers, they are back again. I am about to insta the ATI catalyst drivers, and see if i get a similar problem. But i was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I'm running: 3.4 gig P4 x850xt Plat. MSI 915 p/g combo board |

I downloaded and installed the current Catalyst drivers directly from ATI. And the obnormal behavior resolved it's self. There are now no, unknown devices in the registry.
I am unsure at this point what the exact problem was, but hope that i can find a way to still use the Omega drivers. As I much prefer them to the standard ATI drivers. |

What you need to do is install the WDM drivers.
