2D vs. 3D Screen Size
This is the first time I've noticed this. I can set up my Desktop for 1600x1200 and have a small border around the perimeter. But, when I set a game for 1600x1200, some of the screen is beyond the physical borders of my monitor.
This became noticeable during a session of Line of Sight: Vietnam. The game's compass is located in the extreme upper left corner. Due to the problem I describe, I can only see about 2/3 of the compass. It's important to see all of it because it shows directions to objectives in the game. I'm using CAT 5.8 official drivers. |

If the game and the windows desktop are using different refreshrates this can account for the disparity as monitors can change screen position when changing modes. You will have to use your monitors size and position settings to change the display while playing the game so the new settings for that refreshrate are stored.

![]() But does your screen have an autoconfigure? If ever, just click that and it SHOULD set the screen properly |

I really didn't want to have to use the manual controls unless absolutely necessary. However, I'll have to pay close attention whether the game's using my designated refresh rate. They are supposed to use what I set up in CCC. |
