Have you tried to force-install the driver via the Device Manager? I'll check the device id files for your card in order to determine what is keeping your card from being installed via the setup.exe.

1st time I hear about this situation. What laptop you have? Did it also happened with the normal 5.8 set?

I've a TOSHIBA A30-151 IGP9000 512MB RAM 40 GB HD P4 3.06
I don't know actually i tried first Cat. 5.8 with dhzer0point.I didn't tried original cats. because patje's modder has problems with card .Maybe it can be because of Cat version.dhzer0point driver includes powerplay and mobility features,doesn't it?

does this driver set work with windows xp x64? I think the actual cat are able to work for both 64 and 32 bit editions but do theys work with both to?

Maybe in the future they will make x64 Drivers, but atm it is such a small group (Im using x64 myself as well), so thats one of the reasons they prefer modding x86 drivers

phr0m -64 bit is where everything is going so yes eventually you will see a dhzp 64 bit driver. Just don't hold your breath waiting.

Aligokalppeker - Grab yourself some canned air and blow the hell out of any vents/fans etc on that thing, also my borther had the same problem and the only thingto fix it was to grab a laptop cooler like this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834999336

Spellbot - If I missed it sorry but can you add the driver manually through the control panel and or do both devices not install or only primry or secondary not installing?

so guys where is the Far Cry folder see none i have HL2 Doom# Cs:Source no far cry and itīs not the end of the world but was just cuorious why it didnīt get installed didnīt have anythin to do with not installing PCI altency tool(what is that anyways?)

Forcing the driver install though the control panel worked! Then running the standard setup.exe for the Control Panel also worked as well after that.

Great, we're still working on the card recognition, it's there but the installer doesn't always like it. Dannyb0y the HL2 autoexec is the same as the CSS autoexec use the same one for both. Petr1 we dropped Farcry from this due to being reworked.

I'm just kind of worried about installing these. The last dhzp's I installed brought my CSS FPS down to a high of 12FPS, average of 9, and the autoexec.cfg made source look much worse. I feared I was having major machine problems until I remembered that these things came with a modded autoexec.cfg. Once I deleted that the game rendered the ground and pipes correctly.

Did anyone else have either of those issues? Are they fixed?

Best drivers I have had in along time. Fast and smooth with all my games (UT2k4, CNC gen, etc.). I could actually put my AA/AF and other settings all the way up with little performance lost No bugs sighted yet. Actually fixed some game bugs/glitches from newest omega drivers (maybe since these are 5.8).

Son_Of_Thunder we're having mixed reviews on the Source autoexec, some people love it some people don't I can tell you that the Autoexec has been completely rewritten and I haven't gotten any negative feedback from my beta testers re: rendering issues or glitches. I and some of the other testers have gotten nice gains in IQ without performance loss with it, others have had a hit in performance they have deemed unacceptable. However it's there because we're all about making your games look better and play better

it's saying your windows needs to be updated first, as pre-requisite patches are not installed.

This actually may be a problem that you already have the patch I'm currently investigating this one, as it's saying you need prerequisites but in reality you have WMP10 I assume. I think it's actually confused and the patch was applied by windows update in a rollup. Like I said still investigating this one...

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if the included patch was an MS creation or made purely by the Zeropoint guys.

If it is MS, then yes, I already have it as I keep everything up to date on a daily basis.

Well if you guys did download xp auto pacther of aug 2005 it allready in the patch you don't have reupdated it.
