Radeon 9500 Pro issues

Hey all,

Just looking for some help here.

Having problems with my ATI Radeon 9500 Pro.

If I try to go into the Advanced Display Properies, I get Fatal Exception 0D problems.

Running:
AMD Athalon 1.0ghz
512 MB SDRAM
300w Power
Ak75 EC Board from DFI
Win 98se

Yeah... any hints?

I've already updated the drivers and that didn't help.

I would suggest trying to totally uninstall all of the drivers (boot into safe mode, then uninstall, reboot into safe mode, install, reboot into normal mode) and it should be cool, unless you already did that when you updated...

Can you elaborate a bit on what the error says? Is it a popup message window? Is it a BSOD? What is the full text of the window, and does it list any processes that aren't working? Do you have problems provided you don't go to the Advanced controls? Have you emailed ATI/card manufacurer about this? So many questions, so few answers so far

Sorry bout that. I'm at work so I can't get you the exact messages.

When I go into the Driver Properties
When I go into the advanced display properties
Sometimes using the ATI Control Panel
___________________________________

BSOD= Fatal Exception 0D

When playing games
________________________
Freezes the system

Winamp/Playing MP3s
_________________
Studders/someties freezes the system

When I get home later, I'll post more details if you need them. Some suggestions from work were lower the hardware acceleration and upgrade to WinXP.
