lockups in 3D

I'm screwing around with XP64(final) and I cannot run a single 3d app without it crashing after some time. Even the CCC 'race car' causes a lockup if I let it run long enough.

2D is fine. The machine has been running stable for the past 7 hours. Crunches Sandra fine. The second I try to run a game or any type of 3d app(64bit farcry, 64bit red mercury, 32bit CS:S, 32bit NWN) it'll freeze(hard freeze, music plays garbled with high pitch whine and I have to reboot) within 10 minutes of play. Which makes me assume its video or audio related.

32 bit windows has no problems.

Stats:
XP64 3000 (35-45º)
A8V deluxe (NB 20º)
9800 Pro
1GB Kingston 3400(x4)
Creative Audigy Gamer

All drivers are up to date.

I tried disabling fast writes. I disabled my soundcard via the crontrol panel. I attempted the few version of Cat's. Reinstalling drivers and the like so I get the feeling I need to rip my audigy right out of it(this seems familiar to my last VIA mainboard and its problems with creative hardware) or its something I'm not thinking.

Google seemed to come up dry so anyone have a clue?

Seems rolling it down to agp4x and upping the voltage to 1.6 helped. I still get crashes every once in awile though.
