Dragunov is on a distinguished road

got an error after installation, after the reboot in fact

it told me I don't have the privilegdes to change something in CCC, installed with full access and loaded my profile with full access (same access as admin)

When I did load the CCC for the first time, it was all blank, second time, I could adjust it, what is the problem?

The error message is because you have one of the services disabled that the CCC needs.

Things it needs are:
WMI
System event notification
Error reporting service
Event log

Possibly a couple of others like Com+ and Dcom and certainly the ASP .NET etc

Which .NET version are you using?
Check the event logs for the CCC and post any messages that come up for the time that the CCC doesnt start first time

System Specs

Got two errors while installation was running - "error 1905 could not unregister ati..dll bla bla. call ati support person"

However, installation proceeded just fine. Reboot, and all works fine so far. not sure what these errors are all about?

The CC now loads nearly instantly - ok, maybe 4 seconds until it's up (for me).

Other than that all feels the same like 5.8

I use .net 2 beta 2 for winfx

It seems it starts fast now, but it is still possible, it is not gonna start, even when u click on it, but when pressing ctrl+alt+del, u see CLI.exe running, but it didn't show up, but no problems now

@ Dragunov
Thats a .NET 2.0 issue, rather than a CCC issue, if you use the earlier builds of .NET 2.0 it doesnt happen. Should be fixed in November when the final of .NET 2.0 comes out

Donator
a tick faster but Overdrive sometimes fails to engage and I have to reboot to get it started.
This never happened with the 5.8's

shouldnt the ATI installer check for things like this and at least warn the user they are dissabled and possible problems may or maynot arrise? things like this should be acknoledged and i keep saying things about it but it seems there is no care for it.

I gace it a 1 because it slow beyond belief. I'm sik of having to sit there for 15+ second while it decides if it's even giong to run. Give me "AI" stuff on the old program, and I'd never switch back to CCC.

It still takes long on my NB till it runs, I'm going to use the CP, because the A.I. doesn't change anything on a Mob. 9700.

CCC is working great for me....getting snappier with every release. I give it a 9.

The only issue I've ever had has existed since we first got the AIW9600XT which is no Overdrive tab. Isn't an AIW9600XT supposed to have that?

I try the CCC with each new version but still fall back on Ray Adams ATT.

When i try to open the CCC for the first time in each new Windows session it feels like i'm starting up a entire game like Farcry or something, the loading time is 10 seconds. Unacceptable.
