Refresh rate problem with Plutonium Version X71

After installing the Plutonium Version X71 (8.0.6071.5120) driver set i cant set my refreshrate higher then 60Hz.
When i try 70 or 75Hz the screen "split up" in two parts that keep scrolling over the screen from the top to below.
The drivers are installed on Win XP Pro, which i totally cleaned from a previous driver (that didn had the problem).
I have a AG neovo X-174 TFT that supports 1280x1024@75Hz.

Try disabling DDC, and see if it makes a difference.

Where do i find this DCC, i did read the same solution/option on another forum but cant find it anywhere.

In your ATI tabs, there will be a DISPLAYS tab there.....click on the MONITOR button and there you will find it.

Click on the "Displays" tab, then on the "Monitor" button.

The problem is the TFT doesnt have that setting
