Futuremark drastic drop with new drivers?

Hi all,

My old score with i dont remember which driver, maybe 5.7 was;

2001se
driver 5.7? - 22111
driver 5.9 - 21742

The strange thing is that every demo except nature went up by 6-10 fps, EVERY one. But nature dropped by about 40 fps!! what is the deal!? I can not even imagine how or why it dropped so drastic and why the other demos increased.

ok on to 2005
driver 5.7? - 6045
driver 5.9 - 6105

So I also am getting a increase for 2005 across the board, with nothing decreasing.

So what is going on with the Nature demo being the only decrease between both 2001 and 2005. Let alone it being such a insane amount of fps lost? Is someone else having this problem?

Yep, noticed same here. Big decrease in nature test on 2001SE, no problems anywhere else.

Same here.... From 20k+ to 19.5k in 01 but 05 went up 300pts

Guys, keep in mind that in 3DMark2K1 you can set up Triple Buffering. It might make a difference.

wow thanks guys, this is a load off of my mind! It nice to know others have experienced this problem, I just wonder what its all about?

i haven't benched in a while. i need to. but i also need to reformat my machine before anymore benching will take place. thing about that, is that i have so much stuff installed for school that i wouldn't want to reformat now anyways =\.
