Omega drivers "must read" to newbies

Quote:
It's basically the same as for nvidia, the only settings that doesn't mess up are FSAA, V-Sinc, Aniso and Trueform, just about every other setting has an impact in framerates or quality. That warning mostly go to user that like to use tweakers, if you don't use any tweaker then there is nothing to worry about ;-)
Remember, ONLY change:-
FSAA
Aniso
Vsync
Truform

Everything else buggers up your settings.
Reason I chose to post this is because when I first bought my R300, I downloaded Omega's drivers looking through the boards on what I can/can't change, I couldn't find it. As I was a previous Nvidia owner, I thought I could not change any settings but MAYBE FSAA and Vsync. To my surprise I could use AF.
Anyway, for all newbies this should be helpful.

Thanks once again Omega.

Good post, but...

...you forgot the other setting you can fiddle with still, your card's GPU & memory clock speeds.
