Default Post 400MHz DAC read

Hi Driver-Gurus...
Zardon told me that windows is anable to read out the DAC right, can`t U do something in the driver so I am able to use the highest refresh rates??
Windows XP reads only 350MHz
Radeon 8500 Retail (275/275)

The highest possible refresh rates are dependent on your monitor. If your monitor can handle the resolution, so can the video card. The max that the 8500 can achieve is 2048x1536.

I own the Sony GDM F-520 (21"monitor max Res. 2048x1536@86Hz!!!!
and 1600x1200@110Hz!!! and my ATI allows only 100HZ@1600x1200 and 75Hz@2048x1536 but on the BOX is written that the card should be able to give the desired refresh rates...

Try disabling DCC and see if that helps you out.
