tv-out not working with ATI Mobility radeon 7500 and Omega 2.6.75a

Hi,

I have an Acer laptop (travelmate 420) with an ATI mobility radeon 7500 connected to my philips TV via a s-video to s-video cable. However i could not get any picture on the TV and the TV was even not detected in the Advanced settings-> Display tab.

I then installed the Omega 2.6.75a driver which now allows me to force the TV detection, but still... nothing on TV. However it seems that "some signal" goes from the pc to the tv for, when I modify the display settings, a short flickering on the TV can be observed.

Can anyone help me? In particular I have the following question:
With omega drivers, i am no longer able to modify the primary/secondary settings of the monitor and TV (the two little blue squares are no longer displayed), do you think it has anything to do with my problem?
Should I try other/older versions of the drivers?
