Radeon Omega Drivers 2.5.83 (Cat 5.11)

Ok, after some time of beta testing, the new Omega Drivers based on the Cat 5.11 are ready for public release.

What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.6.83
[*] Based on the Catalyst 5.11 Official drivers.

[+] New, more advanced installer! Hope you like it.

[+] Added support for a few more 3rd party ATI cards.

[+] Individual tweaks for Standard and FireGL cards, that should solve the FireGL problems with OGL.

I thought you said the new version wouldn't support the old control panel? And that you'd need .Net framework for the new control panel...

I uninstalled drivers, control panel, and ran this ATI driver cleaner program.. I still see the old control panel. (Which i don't have a problem with one way or the other)

Just thought you mentioned it before.

Decided to drop the CCC idea, CCC still bloated and a resource hog, so I don't want to move people to CCC yet.

How well does this driver work with CCC, I personally think CCC pawns ATT. My opinion, so would like to know if I just install the drivers, would it work well with CCC?

I also have a problem with opening panel. It won't open and I can't see it where it should to be. Also tray tools give me an error 'your bios is not supported'. I have Radeon 1800XL.

BTW, the 3D Accelerator site has exceeded its bandwidth.

EDIT: Just did get the new ones installed. I'm really impressed with the new installer. GREAT JOB!!

Now, on to seeing how they work!

what happened to ATI Tray Tools ?
did you add x1800XT support ?
is X1800XT overclocking and voltage and temps added to Tray tools ?

first of all .. thanks for developing another set of your modded Catalysts @ Omega ...
The installer runs smoth without any error and looks great

First tests with aquamark shows a slight improvement over your last set with my X800XT PE. So, now it's time for WoW again *gg*

New here, hello to everyone. I´ve tried few last versions of Omegas, must say I´m very pleased with them, stable, a lot of useful options, eye-visible performance boost on my poor 9600pro (benchmarks only get me nervous...). Heavy stuff, good work Omega.
I´ve tried few other tweaked drivers (yours are best BTW) while waiting for current release and noticed problems with CCC and TV out on my card. Once it`s not detected, another time it`s not detected properly, can`t change video systems-NTSC,PAL (or just I don`t know where/how)...Even few original ATI drivers had problems with installing and starting and/or working of the CCC. Yeah, it`s nicer and cool and more automated, but that is worthless to me if I don`t have considerable control over it.
I read above you`re intending to implement CCC in you`re (far) future releases. Just thought to mention my problems, maybe you can do something while you`re working on that (add some new options/tweaks maybe...). I have DVB card and I`d really like to watch SATTV on my TV set in the future.

Stop with double posting, one question is enough, just install the thing and report if it is working or not.

I'm using this driver now for more then two weeks, and it works perfectly!
