Is this fast enough?

Not many changes (it didn't need much), but updated at least.

What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.6.87

[*] Based on the Catalyst 5.12 Official drivers.
[+] Added support for 2560x1600 and 1600x1024 resolutions.

Download at my site.

I dont know wether to Stay with the Cats or come to the Darkside here

I think im going to stay with the Cats cause of my colour profile

Omega ? does the ATT work with X1800XT cards yet.
like the overclocking and artifact tester ect ect becuse ATI TOOL is have massive problems with these cards at overclocking ect.

I removed the mirror just in case, I replaced the original file a couple of hours after release with a NEW one that fixes the CP issue with x1800 cards, the name was the same and almost the same size, so for people that already downloaded as soon as I released, please re-download and then post your mirrors again, just want to make sure the correct file is distributed, sorry for the inconvenience.

man i wish my server was more convienent... i would upload these and provide a mirror but i cant because they dont have the features they once had

security is a major consern now adays, moreso than features.

Maybe I'm stupid or something, But I get about 12 fps slower frame rates with these drivers over the ATI drivers. I ran the Halflife 2 Counterstrike source test like 3 times. I have also ran aquamark. And other benches.. They all are slower.
Am I doing something wrong here? I installed the drivers with driver cleaner just like the readme says. Tried numorous times.
I have an x700 pro 256.

well must say in performance between Cat 5.12 and Omgega 5.12 i get the same score in 3Dmark 05 as with ATI cats 4802

so the difference i might say is that with ATT i can enable adaptive AA wich i can´t with cat 5.12 it is greyed out

so nice drivers omega shall do more testing like NFS Q4 FEAR these are the games i have intalled now so

let ya know more

Man, some days ago I just installed Omega 5.11 !

And, guys ? Is the new driver set worth the install or shall I stay with Omega 5.11 ? (I have P4 HT, keep that in mind)

well here is a benchmark run with fraps
game is F.E.A.R level is heavy recistance

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
7008, 180000, 3, 118, 38.933

this is with FSAA 2 AA2 in game settings
pretty good great work omega

well see it this way i have a P4 HT 3ghz and it scores 4802 in 3Dmark 05 never been above 5700 with any previous drivers

so yeah these are worth installing

Well I FRAPS´ED Q4 High Quality 1280x1024
FSAA 2 or 4x everything turned on in game and some in ATT

and this is wht i got it is in the beggining of the game

well here is a down part on this realese or maybe even 5.11 when ATT is enabled that is in the tray Quake 4 won´t start what´s that about???

so no ATT when playing QUAKE 4 it won´t even start

so MR Adams why does ti do that???

i´ve noticed a problem with 3D settings if i do anything at those settings in CP adn click ok screen goes extremely bright
but if i use ATT it goes normal weird or is it that after exiting Q4 and change settings it goes overbright might it be somethin like that?

well i guess my GFX didn´t empty it´s memory after reboot all is ok once agian and this time i could have ATT enabled in tray maybe FRAPS and ATT+ Quak4 don´t work i am not sure but that is my guess

While I do enjoy a quick release, please do not let the "I want my Omegas now" decrease the amount of research you put into your drivers. I have never installed an Omega driver that did not work on my system and don't want to start now.
