Hi
I just installed the Omega Drivers and they are working really fine. Thanks to the author! But I have a second TFT installed and that one need's the resolution 1440x900. Exactly the one that is missing in the list :/ I found this thread (http://www.hardwareheaven.com/windows-xp-radeon-display-drivers/38584-adding-16-10-resolutions-driver-i-e-1680x1050-1280x800.html) and the author Omegadrive of this nice tool stated that he would include widescreen-resolutions in the next release. But unfortunately not the one I needed. Is there a way to have this resolution on my external tft? cya jan |

I have no clue what to do now
Fujitsu-Siemens told me that the Display is Plug'n'Play and there is no driver available. AND that ATI has Problems with those non-standard resolutions. Yes, I knew that already. I tried Powerstrip, but no clue what to do. For a beginner like me it is not very easy.ATI-RefreshFix is a nice program but I can't uncheck the "hide modes that this monitor cannot support" and I think therefor it is not working for me. ![]() ![]() No 1440x990 available (((![]() The resolution i am on now is really not good for my eyes, any help would be very appreciated! |

Finally, it's working now...! The trick was, for there are "two" adapters in atirefreshfix, in fact only one in my system but because of the "advanced monitor" support (dunno in english, german it is "erweiterter Bildschirm"), so I had to change both of them. Now it's working, 1440x900 with 55KHz and 59Hz.
Btw thanks for overwhelming me with responses ![]() ![]() ![]() best regards jan |
