MAjor problem please help

I have an x700 mobile and had the omega .75a drivers installed with no problems. then I installed .83s using the instructions. After these were installed, I started getting some bars and lines on my screen when ever i started my computer. So I uninstalled these, ran drivercleaner pro 1.2 and then installed the DHzer 5.11 drivers. While installing these, I got an inf error but i just continued installiing and rebooted. Know whenever my laptop starts, the screen is always distorted until i put the laptop in standby and come back out of it. Also, in safe mode he laptop works fine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the original catalysts (5.12) and then installing the .75a omegas but still nnothing works please help.

BTW, I have xp sp2 .net2.0 (if it matters.)

Something got corrupted.

Tried reformatting the laptop? I know it might sound like a PITA but its a last case defense.

Things to try....

Completely uninstall any video drivers then run driver cleaner and CAB cleaner then try the official Catalyst's first then see how that works

tried that but catalysts dont install I just get an inf video driver error.error

Try extracting a driverset (e.g. Omegas), then installing the card manually. Then U can uninstall the card properlly, use DriverCleaner and installing the Official Catalyst v5.12. Hope this helps!

how do you install manually? Also what settings do you use for drive cleaner. Thanks for the help.
