Have you tried enableing it in ATT? If the option isn't there, try going to the Tweak, then Advanced Tweaks menu. Select New AA and AF Methods and uncheck the first box. This should let you enable Adaptive AA in ATT.

Yep Bigchops is right use ATI Tray Tools, go to advanced tweaks and enable it there. It's a GREAT program!

You can use the registry edit. All it requires is the changing of one value then a restart.

Use the search function of the forum to find it.

YEah and either way, ATT enables it.

IT doesn't seem to be doing much for me though in terms of visual quality

I have it in CCC! Disabled though, can't really afford the FPS hit.

There are two types of AA commonly used called supersampling and multisampling. ATI has been using multisampling and nVidia uses supersampling; there is a larger performance hit for supersampling, which is why ATI cards tend to do quite well in comparison to nVidia cards.

However, you can't use multisampling with alpha-blended textures (ie, textures with transparency, like chain-link fences). Adaptive AA lets the ATI cards use supersampling for transparency instead, while using multisampling for the rest of the image.

If you have AA on already it shouldn't kill FPS that badly

Actually that's not exactly accurate. TransparencyAA by nVidia has two modes; supersampling and multisampling, you can choose whichever you want from the CP.
