Help a computers for Dummies Guy

I was running an omega driver on my Gateway laptop 600YGR phoenix bios 4.0 release 6.0 ATI MOBILITY Radeon 7500 The Omega driver version 2.6.53 worked great and I for once was having no trouble with ny system. I saw that there was an update so I updated to 2.6.87 which did not work and now I cannot get 2.6.53 to work again nothing works I uninstalled and then re installed and my games are not working I am reeading an error which says .\source\Common\render.c.154 This game was working fine until I messed with tings how can I get back my old system I tried the restore function but that did not seem to work.

Run DriverCleaner, then install the drivers you previousely had. 99% of the problems people have with installing new drivers can be averted by just properly uninstalling the old ones, running driver cleaner, then installing the new drivers.

Do you only get that error with DirectX games or is it OpenGL ones too?
