"Can not find ati video board"
I get this message when starting up XP SP2 with the Omega 2.6.87 drivers. Installing the WDM drivers doesn't solve it.
My configuration is ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard, AMD64 4000+, ATI X850 XT AGP, Soundblaster X-fi XtremeMusic. I believe that my bios and all drivers are up to date. Suggestions? |

Greetings, sab12,
And, welcome to DH! Go into your Device Manager/Hardware and Remove all instances of any Display Adapters that show up there. Reboot the computer and continue into normal Windows XP and let Windows redetect your video display adapter. Then, without doing anything further, install the Omega drivers along with the WDM (for VIVO only) and then reboot. If this doesn't work, install the official CATALYST drivers that came on the CD with your video card. Once they are installed and working, you can Remove/Uninstall the CCC (if you don't want it) or the Control Panel (if that's what you opted for) and then Install Omega's drivers 'over the top' of the official drivers. Don't worry, I've been doing this for YEARS without problems. Just be sure to OVERWRITE any files that might bring up a prompt. It's important to do this to make certain you get the files that Omega has chosen to use. Good luck and post back again soon. |

You could also just install stock 5.13's or the ZP 5.13's
