Mob. 9200 external monitor only

I just installed the latest Omega driver on an HP Compaq nx7010 with a Radeon Mobility 9200.

I restart and the Windows XP logo/progress bar comes up, after that the screen goes blank.

I discovered that the output is going to the external monitor and it thinks that this is the primary!

I can't enable the laptop screen as the primary or the secondary monitor.

Any ideas?

I had to go back to the 5.6 drivers for my 9200 card. The main display wasn't blank, but it was filled with garbage.

Try connecting a monitor then switching it in the O/S then unplugging it.
