While not Scoop, I'll field this one. If you leave the fan on auto, you might be able to tolerate it. However, it's gonna get hot...reallly hot. I throw the fan on 70% while gaming and it's LOUD.

Normally I balk, whine, and stomp around like a disgruntled kid who didn't get a lollipop in a situation like this. But the perfomance combined with the cooling power of this sucker's got me thrilled. So thrilled, even I can deal with the noise...for now.

Sorry mate not to get back to you. Ive been playing FEAR and what a difference, superb effects etc. As for the sound of the fan its never bothered me at all. It does speed up for a second or two but then slows again. Its no problems at all, and not loud. The loudest it gets is when you boot yr computer up.

Oh and its a Saphire x1900xtx card, didnt get much of a games bundle with it but what the heck.

Regards

scorethanks very much for the link, will give them a go!

3dmark was 5575 in the 5.13 drivers, be intersted to see the difference with these!

Nice difference scored 6108 with new driver

Catalyst control center will not load with my x1900xtx, so don't have that, but it did update the drivers, glad for that at least, thanks for the link!
