Nope, and oh well to the first 2. LOL Sorry.. not much else to say.

As for PCI latency, since the issue isn't slow downs, but crashes changing this rate won't do anything for you. Also, since it's a laptop I'm not sure you should. Infact, that latency is one of the tweaks applied by Omega, so it's already been changed. For more on latency it's probably best to google or search these forums on that one instead as it would take a while to explain.

Anyways, I can only see 3 options: reinstall Windows, try cooling down the system as mentioned (although I wouldn't buy a laptop cooler just to test), or if you laptop is still under warranty, call Toshiba. The reason I mention calling Toshiba is that I know with the Satellite A7x series laptops that use ATI chipsets are known to have issues. I've had to send back 2 Satellite A70s for repair (1 had heat issues, the other had it's mainboard fry), and am in the process of sending back my 3rd right now (never know when the laptop will lock up, but it will lock up.. constantly). If you do call them be blunt, and ask them if there are any known issues with your laptop series.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm fresh out of ideas.

could you just give a small and quick recap what the problem seems to be?

Re: i seem to be in a pickle...

well a year later after that last post i still have the same problems.

im convinced its a combination of things.

1. heat, i notice when i put a small powerful fan behind the laptop it reduces the errors.. or at least prolongs play time. i also heard something about a class action lawsuit for the A7X model of toshiba laptops for heat

2. old ass drivers. i think toshiba gave up updating the drivers for this model because of the poor design and lawsuit. i have yet to try the modding or omegas, etc... again but im about ready to do a full sweep and on a fresh install of windows i will try them all again

my solution: build a new desktop

if anyone else has any other ideas let me know
