FPS Stuck

I just installed 6.2 drivers. FPS is stuck @ 75, v-sync is off. Resolution is 1024 x 768. Before these drivers, I hit 150 avg in-game: CS:S. What can I do to take this limiter off?

Specs
AMD 64x2 4800+
ATI Radeon x1900xtx
2g Corsair 400

Try typing fps_max 500 in the console.

If that fails then Vsync is still on.

You could try enabling it again then disabling it.

odd problem.....i also get high FPS's (on non-HDR maps) do you have HDR and AA on and are playing on HDR maps such as cs_milita and de_nuke??? that may explain lower framerates then say de_dust 2 and cs_scoutsknive where you get 200-300fps like me,and im running it at 1280x1024 aa4x af16x.....try changeing your resolution and see what effect that has? you should be playing at higher quality with those specs anyway

Well if its stuck at 75 it means it could be going faster so obviously it isn't choked down

Running 6x AA with Temporal AA
AF 16x /w HQ AF
Catalyst AI Advanced
Mipmap High Quality
Vsync off
Adaptive AA Quality

All ingame options to the fullest also.

ATI Overdriver maxed out

Still stuck at 75hz in game

This happened to me as well - The FPS got stuck at 60Hz, even though V-Sync was off (Cats 5.XX). I think it is a driver bug, because it still happens sometimes in the Omegas that I use now. Just toggle on and off a couple of times, then restarting, and see if that helps...

Do you eyes work 3 times faster than normal ?

surely 75fps constant is better

I think it has something to do with that DDC mode in the Omega CP...

I was under the impression that DDC data was retrieved from the monitor... but I guess its how the driver interprets it

Turn off Temporal AA. with TAA enabled your VSync will always ON regardless to Catalyst settings.
