Akasa Omega BKCSE-05 Case

Akasa Omega BKCSE-05 Case

Akasa make a wide range of products, however they tend to focus on chassis and cooling devices. We have reviewed many of their products in the past, most of them power supply units and component coolers.

Packaging and Bundle

The Akasa Omega is supplied in a considerably large package which betrays the size of the case but it is also fairly lightweight. The cardboard box is thick and the case is secured between two hard Styrofoam pieces, which provide enough security as the aluminum chassis is lightweight.

Even though the bundled items you will receive are well organized, to our frustration there was no manual included in the package apart from a very basic single page schematic of the case.

The Omega is simple and there is no real need for a manual, however it would be nice to include one as an amateur who is building his or her first system might be intimidated. Other than that you will find many screws and stand offs for installing your components in the case, as well as four wheels. Two of the wheels have brake latches.
