On the previous page we saw some great results in productivity related tasks and thanks to the dual Radeon 4870s installed in the system the impressive performance continues in gaming. Looking first at Race Driver Grid which we tested at 1920×1200 with 8x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering we see that the game averages over 60 frames per second and never drops below 50.

Next up is Crysis which challenges even the highest specification system and although we could not quite get to 1680×1050 or 1920×1200 the game was perfectly playable at 1280×768 with Very High detail.

On the next two tests, World in Conflict and Lost Planet Colonies, we were able to move back up to the LG screens maximum resolution of 1920×1200 and turn up the detail levels to their highest setting. World in Conflict, like Grid, never dropped below 50 frames per second and although Lost Planet saw a few larger drops the overall gaming experience was never adversely impacted.
