Far Cry 2

Far Cry 2 was tested at 2560×1600 and 1920×1200, all in game settings were at their highest level and anti-aliasing was disabled. Setting the game detail to its highest level enables in game anisotropic filtering.

When playing Far Cry 2 at 1920×1200 we see that the 4870 has the edge on all of the measured areas with the largest difference in performance being 4 frames per second. When we disable anti-aliasing and move up to 2560×1600 the results are much closer with the 260 and 4870 sharing the same average frames per second. Minimum framerates are the most important though and in this particular test the GTX 260 has the edge.
