Most companies have been finding it hard this week to show any share change with even Apple and Nvidia showing market drops (2.2% and 4.9% respectively).
AMD are one of the few this week showing gains, which after a $1.25 billion handout from Intel is a good sign. This is also helped by their stunning range of graphics cards on the market right now from the lower end 5750 and 5770 to the more expensive 5870 and 5970.
Dell were hit hard this week with a 7.2% drop caused in part to some very poor Q3 figures – they only made a Q3 income of $337 milion this year when compared to $727 million from Q3 in 2008, a significant decline. Dell’s revenue also dropped to $12.9 billion from $15.16 billion, even falling below the Wall Street estimates.
