follow url Techcrunch have stated that an early version of the Chrome OS is due for release any day soon with a limited collection of hardware drivers “within a week”.

This is meant to be a fast running and usable OS for lower powered netbooks and is capable of running on both x86 and ARM processors. The plan is that companies will be releasing systems running the Chrome OS by Q2 of 2010.
