Yesterday we reported news that Microsoft executive Simon Aldous said Microsoft had effectively created “a Macintosh look and feel in terms of graphics” with the newly launched Windows 7 operating system.
Instead of playing this under the radar it is blowing up into what appears to internal bickering with Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc slamming Aldous for his inaccurate Windows 7 diabribe.
“Unfortunately this came from a Microsoft employee who was not involved in any aspect of designing Windows 7. I hate to say this about one of our own, but his comments were inaccurate and uninformed” spluttered LeBlanc.
While we appreciate that Microsoft don’t want to be seen copying anything from the Apple operating system, I think we all know that both manufacturers are nicking all the best bits from both sides of the fence. Nothing wrong with that, even if LeBlanc says there is.
