Internet Explorer has been in the news a lot recently with a plethora of bugs and issues affecting the Microsoft browser. They are not alone however as popular browser Opera has just been updated to address three quite severe vulnerabiliites affecting their browser software.
As well as fixes for a large number of minor stability and performance problems the latest 10.10 update fixes a more serious buffer overflow bug which allowed a skilled end user to inject hostile code into vulnerable systems. The update also rectifies a moderate security issue discovered by Google which is not being detailed by either company.
Opera 10.10 also launches Opera Unite, a web server technology that is included in the Opera browser – this allows people to stream music or share files with others, directly from their browser.
