Via Nano 3000 series CPU’s set for release

we can wirte essay for you VIA technologies have just released information on their newest CPU to target the thin and superportable notebook market – with their new Nano 3000 series processors.

go to link There are six new processors entering into production in Q1 2010 and they apparently can support 1080p playback with really low power consumption. The Via Nano processor was first released in May of 2008 and although they were good on paper they fell somewhat to the wayside next to Intel’s successful ATOM CPU. The Nano 3000 series however adds support for SSE4 instruction set and VIA’s VT virtualisation technology. Their claims are 20 percent higher performance and and equal reduction in power consumption. They will ship in the Nano BGA2 package and are backwards compatible with older VIA sockets meaning it should be a relatively painless upgrade. Intel however have a new range of Atom CPU’s on the horizon so the smaller company really have their hands full trying to get into this market.
