Apple Withdraws Large Number of iPhone Apps

Product image

Apple has removed a large number of iPhone apps from its store due to bogus reviews on the quality of the software.

It seems that iPhone app developer Molinker which is responsible for apps which include photography tools, currency convertors and travel guides has had its software removed by Apple. Blogger Glyn Evans reported to Apple that reviews of the Molinker applications were universally positive, all gave 5 stars and were written by users who only rated that company’s products.

After reporting his concerns to Apple, Evan’s received a response from Phil Schiller, Senior VP at Apple stating that the Apps were now unavailable.

The Molinker site is currently unavailable also.
