This is according to Jon Peddie Research who state that total AIB shipments in Q3 2009 was just over 20 million units. This averages out to around 7 million each month which is a solid industry figure especially in such a volatile climate. The Juniper based cards have been big sellers, while the Cypress cards are still reasonably difficult to purchase. ATI only shipped around 300,000 of the 5800/5900 series despite the fact that Cypress was launched weeks ahead of the HD5700 range. Hopefully when TMSC manage to get yields improved we will see AMD shipping many more cards. Share On
