It seems to be that every week a new manufacturer is running into some issues with their laptop batteries and the latest culprit is Fujisu who are recalling batteries for potential overheating issues. Recently Sony, HP and Packard Bell also experienced similar issues.
The batteries under question come from Fujitsu’s Amilo P Line up sold between April 2007 and June 2009. The Lithium ion batteries are said to be in danger of overheating and even catching fire although there are no cases yet reported. If you own an AMILO Pa2510, Pi2512 or Pi2515 laptop then get in contact with them to get a free battery replacement.
In the meantime the company are recommending you remove the battey and use mains power until you get your replacement.
