Vodafone to start selling iphone

Vodafone are going to be offering the iPhone on the 14th of January 2010 in the UK. The 3G is going to be a good deal with no initial cost, however you have to tie into a 2 year £35 a month contract. If you pay £59 upfront you can get it for £30 a month.

The more modern 16GB iPhone 3GS is also free on a £45 a month contract and if you pay, £59, £89 or £149 then you end up paying £40, £35 or £30 a month respectively. If 16gb isn’t enough then the 32gb version is available but the costs are high. You can get it free if you pay £75 a month for the contract fee, but if you pay £89 then its down to £45 a month. Other options include £149, £179 and £239 upfront for £40, £35 and £30 a month respectively. ouch.

Orange and O2 both offer similar deals in the UK, but they also offer pay as you go packages now which Vodafone do not offer.
