Activisions semi successful sci-fi come world war two shooter has been updated with patch 1.2 making its way on to the internet. The patch updates the game with numerous bug fixes, improvements, tweaks and finally fixing the dedicated server ping bug.
The update is for all 3 versions of the game on PS3, PC and 360 and includes over 50mb of fixes. The main changes on the PC include the panzershrek having more splash damage whilst the iron-sights are now more effective. On the 360 & PS3 versions, players will be pleased to hear that their stats and gold awards will now be saved rather than lost occasionally at the end of the game and sprint has now be balanced better and players can now select from a variety of cross-hairs.
Both the MP43 and MP40 have been adjusted and the amount of ammo picked up from dead players has been lowered on all formats.
It remains to be seen if this update will see players flocking back to a game many gave up on months ago, but Activision are at least pushing for the updates and bug fixes, som 4 months after release.
