The buzzword for 2010 is 3D. Reminds Hardware Heaven when the first push into 3D gaming began back in the days of the early Voodoo cards and the original Playstation.
However this 3D is based on a technology almost 100 years old – we are of course talking about stereoscopic vision 3D which requires special glasses to allow the user to experience visuals that seem to pop out.
It is rumoured that the PS3 will get a firmware update for its games and Blu-ray movies that will allow users to eventually experience 3D. Finally.
Hardware Heaven thinks this may be another one of those fads that is forgotten about by the years end.
