BitDefender 2009 and 2010 anti-virus software decides everything is a threat
A bad update containing an error decided Windows x64 and BitDefender files are a virus, reports NetworkWorld.
“Due to a recent update it is possible that BitDefender detects several Windows and BitDefender files as infected with Trojan.FakeAlert.5,” the company said.
Unfortunately this has left many users with PC’s that will not boot. BitDefender has issued an update for for BitDefender 2009 and 2010 that resolves the issue.
