The open beta for Halo: reach had over one million players taking part on its first day and saw over 100 million kills racked up.
Bungie released a full break down of the important figures around the game, which saw 1,170,112 people play the game on day one and 157,972,986 kills being made.
With the beta going live on Monday it was fully predicted to break all records seen for a previous beta and it isn’t surprising given that the Halo hardcore have been waiting for this for some time.
According to a US gaming survey it is the most highly anticipated release of this year. The numbers are so far looking good and it will remain to be seen whether it can go even further.
