As it is usually the case with most “violent” games , Call of Duty: Black Ops in germany got censored.

Treyarch has release some details of the censoreship update that will be applied for the german edition of Black Ops.

Here is the list:

-A slow-motion gore scene where a soldier is shot down has been toned down a bit.

-A torture scene involving a prisoner of war has been removed.

-The song Sympathy for the Devil by Mick Jagger has been deleted from the game’s soundtrack.

-There are no longer any explosions that cause the loss of limbs.

-Certain symbols have been removed that have been deemed unconstitutional by Germany.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is slated 9 November this year for next gen consoles and PC.
