Chillblast Fusion Challenger System

Chillblast Fusion Challenger PC Review

Power / Temperature / Noise

To give a complete overview of the Fusion Challenger we have taken readings from the system when it comes to temperatures, noise and power use.

For power and noise readings the entire use of the system is measured at the wall. Noise level videos were taken using a camera positioned 2 feet from the closed system. Temperature readings were taken using RealTemp and Everest along with an infra-red thermometer.

Before taking the idle readings for the system the Challenger was left unused at the desktop for 30 minutes. Load results were taken 30 minutes into full load test using software such as Prime95.

  Idle Load
CPU 40°C 76°C
GPU 35°C 64°C
Exhaust Temp 34°C 40°C
Power Use 93w 292w

These are some very impressive readings from the Chillblast system. Despite its overclocked memory and CPU temperatures and power use are well within acceptable limits. This is made all the more impressive by the reasonable noise levels which are produced by the system. The videos below demonstrate how quiet it is, especially at idle.
