Alienware Backpacking Challenge 2011-hh1

With the Alienware Backpacking Challenge continuing, today we can reveal the results of the votes as to who has won the second week’s task in the eyes of the public.

In first place was Petya who has earned the extra €150 bonus for coming top, followed by John in second place. Next was Emer and Miguel who will only have two more opportunities to win before the final poll to decide the overall winner comes in.

Plenty to think about then, not least of all what they will be doing in the fourth week.

The Week 4 Challenge is:

After testing our contestant’s musical and photography skills, and seeing how good they are at promoting things, this week we want to test their physical fitness. Travelling can take a lot of energy and an ill prepared backpacker is a doomed backpacker for sure. That is why we are now throwing a sporting challenge at our contestants so we can test how fit they truly are.

Contestants, go out and participate in sports. Find a sporting event near you and see if you can talk your way in. Get your feet wet and participate. Film yourself training with some football stars or attempt that slam dunk you’ve always wanted to accomplish. The wackier you go, the more we will love it. Go out and test your limits. Let us know about your results and get out of your comfort zone!

Oh and stay tuned for the Gamescom challenge, as we have something special up our sleeves for that one.

For those of you who haven’t been following the action make sure you do at the Alienware Challenge homepage and be sure to vote for your favourite contestant here.
