Upon removing four thumbscrews from the back of the case we can slide off our side panels. Looking inside we find a motherboard cavity which supports boards up to full ATX size and there is a significant CPU backplate cut-out present to assist with cooler changes. Various wiring holes surround the motherboard area and these are rubber lined. Also visible in the above images are our case wires, wrapped in braiding as required and there are two fan controllers inside the DarkForce, one at the base and one at the top which allow us to connect 6 fans.

At the bottom left we find the PSU area which has a Velcro strip to assist with PSU stability and there are rubber anti-vibration pads used where our PSU will rest. Moving higher into the main chamber we see that Gelid use 3pin power connectors for their fan and thumbscrews for card installation.

Up at the top right we see that the four 5.25" bays which feature tool free install via a slide button method.

Beneath the 5.25" bays are six drive locations for 2.5" and 3.5" devices, split into two removable cages. This ensures that cards up to 410mm long are supported (as are 165mm CPU coolers). To install drives in the trays we use screws rather than tool free install.
